MPO Policy Committee

The Policy Committee is made up of three elected officials from each of the jurisdictions represented by the MPO:  City of Las Cruces, Town of Mesilla and Dona Ana County.  This committee is the governing body for the MPO.  Information is gathered from the public and the two advisory committees under their oversight.  The Policy Committee then decides how best to direct MPO staff to help meet the transportation needs of the MPO area.

The Policy Committee meets bi-monthly (except March meeting is held in April), on the second Wednesday of the month at 5:00 pm. The meetings are rotated between the City of Las Cruces Council Chambers, 200 North Church (January, April, May), and the Dona Ana County Commission Chamber, 845 Motel Boulevard (July, September, November).
