SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL TRANSIT DISTRICT
The South Central Regional Transit District (SCRTD) is comprised of the Counties of Doña Ana, Sierra, and Otero; and all incorporated Municipalities within. The MPO is acting as the administrator of the SCRTD until such time that a Service and Financial Plan is adopted and the SCRTD is able to hire its own staff. The MPO will coordinate meetings of the Board of Directors.
SCRTD Officers are:
- Gil Jones (Las Cruces) Chair
- Dolores Saldana-Caviness (Doña Ana County) Vice-chair
- Nora Barraza (Mesilla) Secretary
- Gary Whitehead (Sierra) Treasurer.
The Board meets quarterly at the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd, Las Cruces at 1:00 pm. Meeting dates for 2007 are: February 21, May 15, August 21, November 20. Click each date to review the packet.
